Musicians
Ya Elah
Ya Elah is an exciting new spiritual music ensemble based in the Jewish tradition, which endeavors to inspire unity through sacred text. This ensemble of female vocalists and multifaceted instrumentalists performs the original works of Artistic Director Bon Singer.
The group's musical influences come from Bulgarian village songs, Middle Eastern melodies, medieval and Renaissance choral works, and modern Jewish music. Texts are drawn principally from Jewish sources, with attention given to other spiritual traditions as well. Original texts are also used.
Solace
Created by musician and composer Jeremiah Soto, Solace has released a number of recordings of new Middle Eastern dance music, blended with electronic components.
Solace recordings are highly praised and used extensively within the Middle Eastern dance community. Now, Jeremiah has formed a five-piece group to perform the music live. Tim
is one of the musicians involved in this new project.
Shira Kammen
The finest player of early bowed instruments in the field, Shira's elegant, emotional, and virtuosic
performances have appeared on numerous recordings and in countless concerts.
She collaborated with Tim on The Cloister and the Sparrow Hawk, and works with him in
Caladrius and Ya Elah.
Mark Deutsch
Mark Deutsch is a multi-instrumentalist, who has invented the Bazantar, an incredible instrument, that
is a double bass with sympathetic strings attached, as are used on Indian instruments. The result is an amazing sound. Mark
is also a master player of the sitar, a student of the legendary Imrat Khan. Mark and Tim are collaborating on a new music program
that uses elements of Indian, Turkish, medieval, classical, and jazz styles.
Stellamara
A beautiful site. Stellamara are a remarkable fusion group, blending many different
styles and sounds. The two core members, Sonja Drakulich and Gari Hegedus, as well as their percussionist, Susu Pampanin,
are also current members of Caladrius.
Distant Oaks
An excellent group who performs Celtic and early music of superb quality. The website is beautifully designed as well.
Kitka
The remarkable women's vocal ensemble specializing in Balkan and Eastern European music. Beautiful
harmonies and textures, performed flawlessly.
Ariane Rees
A talented and versatile singer and instrumentalist based in Florence, Spain.
Peyman and his Tonbak
Info on Persian drums, particularly the tonbak, by Persian multi-percussionist, Peyman Nasehpour
David Bellugi
David is an absolutely brilliant American recorder player, based in Florence, Italy. His playing is nothing short of stunning. He tours frequently and should not be missed.

Founded by the late Joseph Spencer, Wildboar is an early music label based in Berkeley, California. Previously, it has
focused on Baroque music, but is now beginning to release music form earlier periods as well, including Tim's new medieval harp recording, Chordae.
ASV
One of Britain's top classical labels, noted for the extensive catalog of their early music
label, Gaudeamus. This label released Tim's first three medieval recordings.
